I added this to my Arlo system I've had for years. Easy install. I did the wired option and so far it works great! I love that is rings to my phone like a video call. I've told my kids- if you need me, ring the doorbell (how handy for kids that don't have phones). That's just a bonus. I did buy it when it was on sale for about 1/2 price. I would not hesitate to purchase at the price point again.

The setup was very easy, it has great features and good clarity. I am a new user to Arlo and also bought the separate additional camera with solar powered lights.

This is my first experience with a video doorbell. With so many video doorbells on the market, there were a lot of reviews to read first. I settled on the Arlo 2nd generation doorbell because it had the features I was looking for (although most of the video doorbells have the same or similar features), but I especially liked the narrower size of the Arlo; that it could be installed wirelessly or wired (I hard wired mine); and the wide viewing angle of the camera on the doorbell. The wiring installation is fairly easy if you already have a wired doorbell. I like that a subscription is not required for live viewing, but I'm in a 4-month complimentary subscription and I like the extra features it provides, (saving recordings, messaging, etc.). At the end of the 4 months I'll decide if I want to continue the subscription based on my usage and experience during the 4 months. That said, the doorbell and camera work very well in the first couple of weeks of use.

I've been using the Arlo Video Doorbell 2K for a while, and overall it works well. The video quality is very clear, both during the day and at night. The head-to-toe view is especially useful for seeing packages and visitors. I also like the modern design and fast motion alerts. On the downside, many important features require a paid subscription, which can be frustrating. The doorbell also fully depends on a stable internet connection, and without it, functionality is very limited. Battery life is okay, but not outstanding. Overall, it's a good doorbell with strong video quality, but the subscription is something to consider.

The vision of this is phenomenal. The quality is amazing and veryyy durable. The audio or sound quality is amazing. Easy to use and set up. This is perfect for your main entrance. You get to communicate and see who is outside by the door. I love this a lot.

Arlo Video Doorbell 2K has been a great addition to my home security setup. The 2K video quality is very clear, and the head-to-toe view makes it easy to see visitors and packages at my door. The setup was simple and straightforward, and I like that it can be used battery powered or wired, depending on your needs. I receive instant notifications when motion is detected, which helps me stay aware of what's happening outside my home. The two-way audio works well, allowing me to speak to visitors directly from my phone, even when I'm not home. Features like night vision, smart detection, and the integrated siren add an extra layer of security and peace of mind. Overall, it's a reliable, well-designed doorbell that makes everyday life feel safer and more organized. I'm very happy with it.

The camera itself has been great, the included subscription is misleading. It comes with a secure plus single not unlimited plan. tmThere is no way to upgrade or just pay the difference, so if you buy multiple devices the included plan is useless as you still have to purchase the plan for your other devices. Had I known, I would have purchased a different set that included the chime.

Was easy to set up. Battery holds a long time. With the less expensive monthly fee, there isn’t much control over depth of field for the video.

You are not actually buying this device. You are only renting it as long as you have the subscription. This is a common practice for devices that are only useful after the crime was committed.
