M&M'S® Mini Skillet Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup M&M’S® Milk Chocolate, divided
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 2 oz. green candy melts, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease six 3.5-inch Mini Lodge Cast Iron Skillets.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. Beat together butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolk until incorporated. Beat in vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until combined. Stir in oats and half of the M&M’S®. Divide into 6 portions; press into prepared skillets.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes or until tops are set and golden around edges. Let cool in skillet on rack for at least 30 minutes or until completely cooled.
- Add melted candy melts to piping bag fitted with small round tip. Pipe 1/2-inch border around edges to resemble wreath shape. Decorate with remaining M&M’S®.
Tip
Alternatively, bake cookies in greased muffin cups, or bake in batches, cooling pans slightly before baking the next batch.
