Buttery Cinnamon Rolls

Wake up your family to the aroma of homemade cinnamon rolls this holiday season.

Ingredients

Cinnamon Rolls
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup plus 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® Butter Extract With Other Natural Flavors
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® Ground Cinnamon
Glaze
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 ounces (1/4 package) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick® All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon milk

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. For the Cinnamon Rolls, mix flour and baking powder in a large bowl. Add milk, 1/4 cup of the melted butter, sour cream, butter flavor and vanilla; mix to form a dough. Roll out the dough on lightly floured work surface to a 15x11-inch rectangle.
  2. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Brush the dough with the remaining 6 tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle on the brown sugar mixture. Roll the rectangle from the long end into a log.
  3. Cut the log into 12 rolls and place cut-side down in a 9-inch round baking pan.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, for the glaze, mix all ingredients in a medium bowl until smooth. Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls.
