How can I maintain and clean my refrigerator for optimal performance and hygiene?

Here’s how you can maintain and clean your refrigerator:

• Go shelf by shelf and take everything out: It’s hard to work in a cluttered space, so remove everything from your fridge before you start scrubbing.
• Check expiration dates: Review the expiration dates of every item in your fridge and toss the ones that have expired.
• Remove each shelf and the crisper bins, if possible: After removing all of the food items from your refrigerator, take out the shelves and storage bins to clean them individually.
• Spray it down: A deep clean starts with a good spray. Use unscented cleaners with odor-eliminating properties, like baking soda and water or mild-scented dish soap—and never use bleach.
• Start scrubbing: Put your back into it! If you’re having trouble with caked-on messes, apply some baking soda solution and let it sit for a while to break it up.
• Clean the inside of the fridge with a rag or non-abrasive sponge: You don’t want to damage the plastic that lines the sides of your fridge or the inside of your fridge door, so use something soft to wipe it down.
• Change the water filter: If your fridge has a water filter, make sure you check the manufacturer warranty to see how often you should change it. The typical recommendation is to change it once every six months.

What is the warranty coverage for your refrigerators?

Sam’s Club offers an Allstate 4-Year Protection Plan for appliances. Your appliances are covered for mechanical and electrical failures during normal use, including complex internal parts that can stop working years after purchase. Accidental damage, intentional damage, loss, and theft are not covered.

3. Haul-away: The delivery service includes haul-away of your old dishwasher, if it has been uninstalled. The delivery team will not uninstall your existing dishwasher. For Dishwashers, Gas Range, Gas Dryers, and Over the Range Microwaves haul away will be provided by installation contractor (not the delivery provider).

4. Complex Installation: Two appointments will be required for complex installations – one for Delivery and one for Installation. When possible, delivery and installation appointments will be made same day, but is subject to installer availability.
